Don’t Let Others Control You

“It is an honor for a man to cease from strife and keep aloof from it, but every fool will quarrel.”

Apakah kalian tau? Jika kalian mengijinkan perkataan / perbuatan orang lain terhadap diri kita bikin kita sedih. Kalian mengijinkan mereka untuk mengontrol kalian?

When you say, “You make me so mad,” "you pissed me off." "Your words breaking my heart." you’re really just admitting that their actions have power over you. As long as that person knows they can push your buttons, as long as you keep responding the same way, you are giving them exactly what they want. Sure, people have a right to say and do things that are upsetting, tetapi kita juga memiliki hak untuk tidak terganggu. Kita memiliki hak untuk meninjau ulang apa yang mereka lakukan terhadap diri kita.

Society kills sometimes. Sekeliling kita bahkan perkataan / perlakuan dari orang terdekat yang kita cintai. Keluarga, orangtua, leaders, brothers, sisters, friends.. they can hurt you and push you to the edge. Mereka bisa menyudutkan kalian sampai ke tahap depresi BUT if only you allow their words / action to get in inside you.

Society will never satisfy. Society will never stop asking you. Society will always kepo with your life your future your past your present. So you must know who you are. Know what God wants you to do from your life. Don't get lost.

Don't let society to tell you what to do. What to wear. Who you are. From how many likes you get. From how good comments you get. From how many followers you get.

NO. You tell society who you are. Who and your God really is.

In fact, the Bible says that it’s an honor for a man to keep “aloof” from strife. In other words, we have to remove ourselves, either physically or emotionally, from strife and offense. Gak mudah emang. Di bible pun ga dibilang kalau itu mudah. But sure. We can do it.

Remember, you don’t need everyone to agree with you all the time. You don’t have to have the approval of others in order to be approved by God.

And remember... Your job is to be the person God made you to be. Overlook offenses and let go of strife so you can live in peace and victory all the days of your life!

When God is for us who can be againts us.
